Sooner or later everybody runs into an application performance challenge, whether it is during development, testing or in production. In this session I want to share my experiences from different engagements in the banking, telecommunication and ecommerce industries. I will show you some of my favorites from the past year, including ones that cost lots of money and impacted company brand and reputation. I will also share stories of how these performance problems appeared, how they were nailed down and how they were finally fixed. Finally I'll leave you with some recommendations on how to avoid running into similar issues with your applications.
