Learning JPA 2.0

The introduction of the Java Persistence API signalled the beginning of the end of proprietary ORM mapping files and session APIs to persist your domain objects to a relational database. While many developers have flocked to the new standard and have been happily developing persistence applications on JPA 1.0, the specification has continued to evolve. Valuable tips and tricks will be given along the way to help you develop your own JPA applications.
