Introduction to Websocket

In this session, I will first introduce what is Comet Programming and the limitations. Then I will describe in details the new W3C's WebSocket proposal, how it work and what it solve. I will then build a WebSocket's application using the Atmosphere Framework, JQuery and the Scala Programming Language. I will conclude by showing how the same application can be done using the JRuby Programming Language.
