ConFoo Montreal 2018: Call for Papers is Now Open

We are happy to open the call for papers of ConFoo Montreal 2018!

With the 2017 edition that attracted over 650 attendees from all over the world, ConFoo has confirmed the rising interest of developers for gathering and discussing innovations in their respective fields.

To celebrate its 15th anniversary, CooFoo is focusing its 2018 Montreal edition on "Experiment & Learn". Indeed, as Montreal is becoming one of the world emerging AI advanced research centers, disrupting the global innovation scene, we are particularly interested in gathering and exchanging with developers in the AI community, contributing to the creation and transformation of the AI ecosystem.

When to apply?

You have until September 20th to submit your ideas. Don’t wait to the last minute.. After that, the advisors will review all the proposals and publish the list of talks on October 14th.

What to prepare?

Talks are 35 minutes for the topic and 10 minutes for Q&A, for a total of 45 minutes. Check out our list of themes.

What to expect?

We cover travel and hotel for the speakers who require it. We expect traveling speakers to give 2 talks so it is expected that you submit as many proposals as possible to give us more flexibility.

How to get accepted?

You can go through our detailed guidelines to write your proposals. We also highly recommend to new speakers to prepare a 1-minute video with the intro to your talk so we can better assess your abilities.

When to register?

The 2018 edition of Confoo Montreal will be held on March 7-9, 2018, at the Bonaventure Hotel in Montreal, so there is still time. However, there are currently very attractive discounts. Until October 13, 2017, you can register at the blind bird rate and save $320 so this is the perfect time to register! Check out our last conferences to get an idea of what to expect.
