This session explores the gap between technical compliance and real usability, using examples from screen reader testing, keyboard navigation, cognitive accessibility, and user research. Attendees will learn how to move beyond checkbox compliance toward truly inclusive design.

During my studies, I participated in a research project that evaluated the accessibility of the 200 most popular websites in Quebec, an experience that solidified my commitment to this field. Today, I bring more than 15 years of experience in digital accessibility, which has become a core element of my professional practice and accomplishments.
