After graduating from ETS with a B.Eng. in Software Engineering, I joined the Chrome team in Montreal. Since 2015, I've worked on Chrome Sign In & Identity, Chrome Language & Translate, Web Payments (Payment Request and Payment Handler APIs), Chrome Enterprise. As of now, I work on a small team responsible for Chrome's resource management, performance, and stability.

Browsers can be more opinionated than we sometimes expect when building for the web. Whether it’s to provide features to users, manage device resources, or make performance tradeoffs, the browser takes actions that subtly break web apps. This talk will explore a few of these cases, and how to make pages resilient to these interventions.
