Nothing Really Matters: Can the Smart Home Standard Deliver?
Matter promises smart home users that any certified device just works, whether you're on Apple, Google, Amazon, or Home Assistant. We'll cover where the standard came from, how devices interact with any ecosystem, and where the line is between local control and the vendor's cloud. Finally, we'll build a Matter device from scratch and add it to multiple platforms to test whether it lives up to its promise.
