Microsoft completely re-did a large part of these security features in ASP.NET Core and ASP.NET Core 2. We'll look at ASP.NET identity as well as understanding and implementing a token service. And you have to know a thing or two about the new authorization mechanism as well.

What's new in ASP.NET Core 2?

In release 2 of ASP.NET Core Microsoft changed a couple of essential things that make life a lot easier. Things like the meta package, the ability to "light up" features, a vastly improved available API and the fact that you can now reference older .NET assemblies.
In this session I'll update you with all the details. You'll leave this session with the confidence to start using this great new ASP.NET Core version right away.
