Upcoming Changes in MySQL 5.7

MySQL 5.7 will be the first release of MySQL to enable the strict SQL mode by default for all installations. This change means that instead of truncating input and returning a warning to the application, MySQL will now refuse input and return an error. This change is one of a series of related changes to make MySQL safe by default.

This talk will describe what breaks, and how you can be best prepare for the upgrade.
