The quality of user experience is a game-changer for the success of any online platform. This means, developing web applications with user needs in mind; interaction, widgets and coding dynamic content. In this session, developers will learn accessibility techniques to implement and common mistakes to avoid in order to ensure compliance with the Web Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1 AA).

Rabab Gomaa is a certified Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) with background in front-end development and user experience.
She is an active member in the accessibility community. She has facilitated several Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) training workshops and speaks frequently at accessibility camps and conferences.
Rabab currently works at improving the accessibility of websites & web applications and increasing the accessibility awareness at the Government of Canada.
