Hybrid Application Development with Cordova
Since 2008, PhoneGap has been free as in beer and speech, and has championed the hybrid development approach. This talk will be about embedding a Cordova WebView inside an application, and how Cordova can work with native application development to deliver the best of both web and native development. This talk will focus primarily on Android.
Joe Bowser
Adobe Systems Inc
Joe Bowser is a Senior Computer Scientist at Adobe Systems Inc. He is one of the co-creators of PhoneGap, and originally wrote the Android implementation. He is the longest contributing member of the Apache Cordova project and the Project Management Committee (PMC).
When he is not working on Cordova, he is working on various other projects, which often include open source hardware like the Arduino, 360 video, as well as building, flying and crashing quadcopters.
